How to configure Adobe Commerce Connector
This guide will walk you through the steps to configure the StreamX Adobe Commerce Connector. By completing the guide, you’ll be able to fully ingest product and category data to your StreamX instance through the Connector.
Prerequisites
Ensure you have the following before proceeding:

Running Adobe Commerce Cloud instance with StreamX Adobe Commerce Connector installed

Administrator account on the Adobe Commerce Cloud web interface

Running StreamX instance that is publicly available
-
A web browser of your choice
Step 1: Enable StreamX Adobe Commerce Connector

Open your web browser and log in to the Adobe Commerce Cloud web interface with an administrator account
-
Go to Stores → Configuration
-
Expand the
STREAMX
configuration section -
Click on the
Connector
field inside theSTREAMX
section -
Expand the Connector’s
General Settings
area -
Select the
Enable StreamX Connector
option toYes
-
This should reveal all the remaining configuration settings
Step 2: Configure StreamX ingestion

Expand the
StreamX Ingestion Settings
section -
Fill in the following fields:

StreamX Rest Ingestion base URL
-
Channel name
-
Channel schema name
-
Auth token
-

Ensure that those values match the configuration of your StreamX instance. If you’re unsure about any of the values, consult the administrator of the StreamX instance you’re connecting to

For security reasons, keep the
Disable Certificate Validation
setting with its default value ofNo
. Only change this toYes
in exceptional cases
Step 3: Configure optimization settings

Expand the
Optimization Settings
section -
The Connector checks for StreamX availability before sending any ingestion requests.

You can disable this check by setting the
Check StreamX Availability
flag toNo
, but it is recommended to leave it enabled (Yes
) unless you are certain your StreamX instance is always available

Configure the
Batch Indexing Size
:-
This numeric setting determines the maximum number of products or categories that are included in each ingestion request to StreamX

The default value is
100
, which is optimal in most cases -
The allowed range is from
1
to500

Step 4: Configure catalog settings

Expand the
Catalog Settings
section -
Review the available settings, which control low-level details of the ingestion process
-
Each setting includes a description in the view to help you understand its purpose and function
Step 5: Save changes
Once you’ve completed all necessary configurations and adjustments, click the Save Config
button to apply your changes.
Step 6: Configure stores to index

In the upper-left corner of the Configuration page, switch the scope to the source website for publishing product and category data to StreamX

Expand the Connector’s
General Settings
area -
In the
List of stores to index
field, select one or more stores to include -
Click the
Save Config
button to apply your changes
You can also override the default settings of the StreamX Ingestion and Catalog sections at a website level.
